New Web Site on Kid's Safety Online 29 July 1999

A new web site has been launched in the USA called GetNetWise. The web site is a rich resource of safety tips, information about technology safety tools and good sites for kids.
It includes information about the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children's cybertipline one of the partners in the Childnet run INHOPE Forum of Internet hotlines dealing with illegal content. The main safety guide has been written by Larry Magid, one of the judges in the Cable and Wireless Childnet International Awards. There's still time to enter and win a trip to Barbados!
